Theresa Burns is the owner of Photography by Theresa in Cullman Alabama.
Her photography career started in 1974 with an apprenticeship with a local studio, where she eventually served 20 years as studio manager and darkroom technician.
She opened her own full time photography studio in 1995.
She began by specializing in wedding photography and later expanded to include both portrait and children’s photography
Today her portrait business has expanded to include commercial business photography and computer digital restoration services.
A member of Professional Photographers of American she has served on the state level as President of the Central Alabama Photographers Association- both as an officer of the association and a judge of professional photography.
Ms. Burns is a Wallace State College Instructor with the Continuing Education Program. Her classes include Digital Photography and Photoshop Elements instruction.
